How much does a fiberglass pool cost?

The question we receive the most is “How much for that pool?”

It is a simple question but unfortunately, one that is difficult for us to answer since there are many factors that need to be considered to give you a fair estimate. Imagine Pools™ is proud to provide the centerpiece and focal point of your backyard outdoor experience but our pool shell is just one item considered when producing an estimate.

All Imagine Pools™ products are sold through independent dealers, many of them locally and family owned businesses. They purchase our pools with the intention of not only selling them to you but also installing them into your backyard. These dealers are free to set their own prices as mandated by law.

Can I put a salt water system in my fiberglass pool?

Fiberglass swimming pools are very compatible with salt water systems. If you are using a vinyl liner pool, you must be careful as those pools tend to have metal parts or connections which salt will eat through and corrode. Salt water is abrasive on the interior surfaces of concrete/ gunite pools, especially those that have plaster within them.

Many families report that they enjoy swimming within a pool that has a salt water system. They feel cleaner and report that they do not have that “chlorine” taste and reaction. That is, they don’t experience the eye burning or the smell that comes with traditional chlorine usage.

Is it safe for my dogs to swim in my fiberglass pool?

Pets are just like people in that some enjoy simply lounging within a splash pad while others enjoy going a good swim. Imagine Pools™ fiberglass construction allows them to do either one. Pets’ nails and claws do not rip our pools like it may do with other type of pools.
