Before breaking ground, Luano Pools provided detailed 3-D drawings and renderings, allowing the homeowners to visualize the result. This comprehensive approach ensures clients are fully informed and excited about their project from start to finish.

The transformation began by addressing the yard’s natural slope. The Luano Pools team carefully lowered part of the property to accommodate the pool while engineering proper drainage to prevent any water flow onto neighboring properties, a challenge they handled with expert precision.

Getting the pool into position required a 90-ton crane to lift it over the house and place it perfectly in the newly prepared space. This technical feat demonstrates the team’s problem-solving abilities and determination to deliver exceptional results regardless of site challenges.

The completed installation is a testament to thoughtful design and quality workmanship. At its heart, the saltwater chlorinated system provides a luxurious swimming experience while being gentler on skin and eyes than traditional chlorine systems. Dynamic movement comes to life through four strategically placed water jets, creating an ever-changing visual display that complements the pool’s Ocean Blue finish. Throughout the pool, color-changing LED lights transform the evening ambiance with a spectrum of moods to suit any occasion.

The design’s centerpiece is a stunning stone wall featuring a one-foot sheer descent waterfall that creates a soothing soundtrack of flowing water. This elegant wall is further enhanced by two integrated fire bowls, creating a dramatic interplay of fire and water elements. Special attention to nighttime enjoyment is evident in the color-changing lights that illuminate the waterfall, creating a mesmerizing display after sunset. Practical considerations weren’t overlooked either: a hidden solar cover offers energy efficiency while maintaining the pool’s sleek aesthetic when not in use.

The thoughtful design extends to the pool’s surroundings, where a comfortable splash pad area serves dual purposes. It’s the perfect spot for adults to relax with partially submerged loungers, while also providing a safe, shallow area for future playtime with grandchildren. This detail represents a forward-thinking detail that aligns with the homeowners’ desire for a space that would serve their family for years to come.

The surrounding space received equal attention to detail. Luano Pools rebuilt the deck and created a graceful transition with steps leading down to the paver area that surrounds the pool. The pavers themselves are a light gray Techo-Bloc product that appears almost white, dramatically outlined with a bold black perimeter of European stone featuring wider grout spacing and thinner bricks.

This distinctive pattern repeats on the waterfall wall and pergola columns, creating visual harmony throughout the space. Under the custom-designed pergola, Luano Pools created a herringbone pattern using pavers in rich reds, browns and beiges. The resulting artistry is reminiscent of an elegant area rug which defines a perfect conversation space.

The team also installed complete landscaping, including strategic plantings and lighting that enhance the area’s beauty day and night.

Adjacent to the pergola stands a multipurpose shed designed with foresight. One section houses pool equipment, while the other awaits transformation into an outdoor kitchen. This demonstrates how Luano Pools thinks beyond the immediate project to consider future enhancements.

The yard still maintains some green space and features a convenient gate leading directly to the community park behind the property, creating a seamless connection between private retreat and public recreation.
